COLON HYDROTHERAPY or COLONIC is cleansing of the large intestine with water, even though baking soda or herbs can also be added to water optionally.

It is important to clean the colon because toxins from the colon can leak through intestinal walls into the bloodstream and spread through the body. We use Open Gravity System and FDA registered equipment with only disposable rectal nozzles for Colon Hydrotherapy.

Colon Cleansing is a prerequisite for any detox program. It's useless to try to clean other organs when toxins keep leaking from a dirty colon.

Frequently Asked Questions about Colonic

Is the procedure painful?

The procedure is not painful – just a steady gentle flow of water in and out of the colon. Discomfort indicates the colon is not healthy and has inflammation. Also, having a colonic on an empty stomach helps make the experience more comfortable.

Will one colonic session completely empty the colon?

No — many people have significant impacted feces and hardened mucus, so a single session may not fully empty the colon. The number of sessions needed depends on digestive health and individual conditions.

How many colonics do you need?

For people without intestinal issues, at least 3 colonics within a 7–10 day period is recommended. If constipation, bloating, gas, or other issues are present, more sessions may be recommended based on your condition.

Does colon therapy wash away all bacteria, even the good?

If the colon is toxic, there may be little good intestinal flora present. After a cleanse, replenishing beneficial bacteria is often recommended to restore microbiome balance.

Is the procedure safe and sanitary?

Yes — only disposable rectal nozzles and disposable sheets are used, towels are sanitized after each client, and therapists use gloves to maintain hygiene.

Can one become dependent on colon cleansing?

No — colon hydrotherapy helps retrain bowel muscles to regain strength. After cleansing, the bowel typically works better on its own.

Will laxatives or enemas produce the same result?

No — enemas or herbal remedies cannot cleanse the entire colon like colon hydrotherapy does. Colon hydrotherapy uses water to go through the full colon length for a thorough cleanse.
