Most people don't even suspect that they have constipation because they do not know how colon is supposed to function normally.
There are a lot of misconceptions about this condition. Most specialists on gastro-intestinal health today agree that the number bowel movements should be equal to the number of meals. But less then one bowel movement a day indicates serious constipation.
If you left food out on the table for a week... would you still eat it? How about a month... or even years? Of course not! You know food starts to decay and become dangerous after just hours sitting out. But you may not realize it... or even want to believe it... but the same thing happens inside your colon every day!

Remember that your colon is five feet long, with hundreds of folds and wrinkles for waste to hide out in and has been known to swell to nine inches in width like an overloaded vacuum cleaner!

Diarrhea is the other side of the coin of constipation. It's really hidden constipation!

If you have consistently runny bowels... or if food seems to run right through you, forcing you into urgent bathroom runs, you might be surprised to know it might not be diarrhea, but constipation!

The colon becomes so thick and lined with old, impenetrable fecal matter that the colon walls can't remove moisture from food that passes through anymore! Your intestines simply can't absorb nutrients and minerals from your food, so it's pushed right through you unused! Your food literally slides past packed-in fecal matter that is stuck in deep mucus pools! Your diarrhea won't stop till you detoxify your colon !!!

Very often people with constipation have hard and dry stool. This is a sign of dehydration. Many doctors believe that constipation is a result of not enough fiber in the diet. For some people it's true. When they start to eat more fruits and vegetables and drink more water their bowel movements improve. But for the majority of people with constipation it does not work because constipation is caused by a lot of different factors which include:
Presence of parasites and Candida-Fungi in the gut, muscle atrophy, structural abnormalities of the spine such as scoliosis, lordosis etc., poor digestion due to inadequate production of hydrochloric acid and enzymes, absence of normal gut flora, various bowel disorders, neurological disorders, problems with endocrine system like hypothyroidism and of course stress.

Some people with kidney failure and diabetes are suffering from constipation.

Most medications including cough syrups, pain medications, anti-depressants, iron supplements, blood pressure, heart medicines, calcium medicines and most anti-histamines cause severe constipation.

Often people with spinal injuries suffer from constipation because the nerve that usually regulates bowel movements is damaged or destroyed. The nerve cells in the walls of the colon can be damaged by long use of laxatives. That's why even herbal laxatives are dangerous for the colon even natural, for example products with Senna herb.

The major cause of constipation is a lack of minerals in the body. Minerals are the building blocks to produce hydrochloric acid in the stomach. The lack of hydrochloric acid create blockages in the gall bladder and inability of bile to pass to the intestines. The bile initiates peristaltic movement and constipation is the lack of peristalsis. Unfortunately, Medical Doctors, especially Gastroenterologists don't check and measure the level of hydrochloric acid. That's why this problem never corrected and a lot of people suffer of severe indigestion during long period of time and don''t even realize it.

Constipation is the biggest catastrophe for your body. It can give rise to many different illnesses, including appendicitis, bad breath, body odor, coated tongue, depression, diverticulitis, fatigue, gas, headaches, hemorrhoids, hernia, indigestion, insomnia, malabsorption syndrome, obesity, and varicose veins, high blood pressure, skin diseases, celiac, ulcerative colitis, Candida, parasites and much more.

Treatment plan:

  1. Each morning take 1 glass of hot water and squeeze lemon juice. This mixture will stimulate the stagnant bile and thus will stimulate muscular action that pushes stool through the digestive tract.

  4. Healthy Oils; lubricate Your Pipes Olive, coconut, grape seed, sesame seed, flax, flax seed, borage, fish and any monounsaturated and polyunsaturated organic, raw oils act as digestive lubricants and are very helpful in clearing up constipation.

Break Up the Jam with Colon Massage

Massaging your colon, which is the final section of the digestive tract, where constipation occurs, is a simple, completely natural, and highly effective method of helping your elimination.

  • Lie on your back with your feet flat on the floor and your knees bent.
  • Beginning in the abdominal area on the right side just above your hip, use the fingertips of both hands to press as deeply as is comfortable, then move your fingertips in circular, massaging motion.
  • Continue upward to just below your ribs. Then, using the same pressing, circular motion, and move across your abdomen just above your belly button. Continue to massage down to your left hip.
  • Next, move to the right about 3 inches and down about 1 inch. Repeat the entire massage.
  • Do massage for 5 to 20 minutes a day.
